This is an exceptional Persian rug from the Saveh Qum region of Iran. A rare and collectible rug within the Persian umbrella, it is made from wool with silk flowers and silk base.

The design is that of a tree of life, stylised with flowers, birds and butterflies. A hand made piece from the late 20th century, is sized at 197cm x 138 cm. Perfect for wall hangings or central feature to any room.
